Our roots in nature
Glacial Plains Land Management LLC was born from a profound love for the outdoors. Growing up immersed in nature, we developed a deep appreciation for the wild beauty of Wisconsin. This personal connection drives our mission to restore and enhance land, bringing it back to its original state for current and future generations.

Our story
It all started when I was in first grade, it was getting close to the end of the year and we had to make a road map of where we saw ourselves in the future, one of the biggest milestones on it for me was going to the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, while I made it as far as attending there, it just didn't suit me, I transferred out to a tech school and started working in my field. From there I enjoyed the work, although tiring and at the mercy of the weather, I decided to start my own business so I can build connections closer to home and to help improve the quality of properties closer to where I call home.
Our history
My name is Derek Zamzow, I grew up in the outdoors, from hunting in the back yard to fishing on a river with my grandpa, I have always had a deep respect for mother nature. I know what it takes to bring a property back to its glory, I did it on my family's property, and though it is not easy I will not give up on it until it is where it needs to be.
